Ben & Steph are {Engaged}!!

Ben & Steph are such a sweet couple and I so enjoyed getting to spend some time with them while taking their engagement pictures! I can't wait to photograph their upcoming wedding in March!! :))

Little miss Mercy is just a delight- she has fun little phrases she says like "happy, happy" and loves to say "beans!" 

(Which is a trick I now use when taking pictures of other kids too....all kids like to say "beans" :)) )

{Family} Melissa, Audrey & Avery

Melissa was the winner of my free session give-away that I did!

She and her sweet girls met me out by a field of what I thought would be beautiful sunflowers...Well, as we pulled up to the field Melissa's daughter Audrey said "Mom, I thought sunflowers were supposed to be yellow- why are those sunflowers black?" (or something along those lines ;) )

lol yes...they had all died since the last time I was out there only a few weeks before!

So we just went with it and worked with what we had and still got some really great pictures!!
