Claire B. {Senior '12}

I am so glad I was asked to take Claire's senior pictures :) We were in drama together in high school and she is such a sweet girl. I asked what "look" she was wanting and she had seen this Taylor Swift video and liked the field and the soft/romantic look they had captured. If you have ever been to Lubbock you know that there are not many fields similar to the one in the video but we stumbled across one that gave us a pretty close look and I am so excited about how these pictures turned out! If you want to watch the video that I am talking about Click Here.

Claire is an awesome basketball player and is going to college on a scholarship to play ball so of course we had to get some basketball shots....Congratulations!

The Brashear {Family}

Here are some of my favorite pictures from the Brashear's Family session- :) Aren't their kids adorable?! Because of the rainy weather we had to move indoors but we still got some great shots...

Sarah B. {Senior '12}

Sarah was the first session on my recent trip to Lubbock. Apparently I brought the rain with me because it rained off and on the entire time I was there...not the best weather for photo sessions! But after we met up at one of my indoor locations I had on stand-by she told me that it was actually perfect because she is going to school for meteorology! So after we got some pictures inside we went out and got some really cute shots of her outside in the drizzle :)

Ross & Hailey are {Engaged} !!

(Captions written by Hailey Glass) :))

My friend Abbie Gibson wanted to give me pictures for my birthday...

Little did I know Ross planned the whole thing.

We met in downtown Mckinney

And took some REALLY cute shots...

She told us that she knew this cute alley way where she was going to try something new with us..
"It might take a few shots".
I HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS ABOUT TO HAPPEN...
She set us up, with Ross out of my view. I had NO idea what he was doing back there..
"Hailey turn around and face Ross"
...I made this face and told them it wasn't nice to trick me!
because...a few things added up in my mind, and I started to get really excited!...But I just thought that this couldn't be real?
IS THIS REAL LIFE?! SO shocked. I see him on his knee and just cannot wrap my mind around it ♥
I see the ring AND FINALLY everything comes together.THIS IS REAL. THIS IS WHAT I HAVE BEEN DREAMING ABOUT
Obviously the next thing..
START BAWLING MY EYES OUT
AND HYPERVENTILLATING
AND LAUGHING
AND SAYING "OH MY GOSH OH MY GOSH!!
AND JUMPING UP AND DOWN...
and let him say what he needs to say..
The most amazing feeling.
YES YES YES

Still cannot believe it...

My very best friend...

And then MORE freaking out lol
He was laughing at me so hard...

So excited!!

The Picture Hailey sent to her Mom....

This was definitely one of my favorite sessions ever to shoot. I was so nervous/excited/ and thankful to be able to capture these precious moments! After this session was over I wanted to be a full-time marriage proposal photographer (they have those right?) ;). It was soo much fun. :) Congratulations to my friends Ross & Hailey!!
